National Ice Cream Day

July 19th is National Ice Cream Day and that has left us wondering what we could do to celebrate.

Some of you might remember that a few years ago we tried to take our banana chocolate chip muffin and turn them into ice cream sandwiches. And oh boy was this good! But we just couldn't get it to catch on at the time.

We never forgot how good this combination was though. So, when we realized that National Ice Cream Day was coming up this weekend, we couldn't stop thinking about this.

Sadly, we can't figure out what we did with the molds to shape the ice cream into those muffin sized pucks. We aren't going to let that stop us though.

Then, while recently gorging ourselves full of peach cobbler muffins, I started daydreaming about what they would be like with vanilla ice cream.

So, this weekend (Sat-Sun only) we are going to be offering our banana chocolate chip muffin and peach cobbler muffin with a scoop of ice cream! While supplies last!

And maybe if you ask nicely we'll warm the muffin up for you too.
